Dr Neha pal is an independent postdoctoral researcher in biotechnology and microbiology at Aligarh Muslim University, India. Her research interest includes plant melanin, phytochemicals, plant biotechnology and environmental stress biology. Another author is her mentor is Prof. Anwar Shahzad Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University who has guided her research work on plant melanin and its function in environmental defence.
