Piyadasa

Piyadasa Edirisuriya is a lecturer in the department of banking and finance at Monash University, Australia. He is the chief examiner for a number of undergraduate and postgraduate units and conducts research on financial markets and banking in Southeast Asian and South Asian region. His research works include many referred academic journals articles, books, book chapters and book translations. He has a PhD in economics from La Trobe University and a Master degree in economics from the University of New England, Australia. Before becoming an academic he served as an economist for the Ministry of Finance, Sri Lanka for more than twelve years.
