The book is the work of an international team of fifteen researchers and clinicians based at universities and medical centres across Iran and Iraq, with expertise spanning biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, medical physics, immunology and microbiology, and laboratory medicine. Drawn from institutions including the University of Shahid Beheshti, the University of Azadi, the University of Tabriz, Urmia University of Medical Sciences, and the Universities of Maysan.
