Harold

Professor Harold McDougall has been a member of the Howard University Law Faculty since 2000,  teaching course in sustainable development and civil and human rights and serving as director Emeritus of the Masters in Law program. 

He specialises in civic culture and civic infrastructure, focusing primarily on how these support sustainable social and economic development and human rights. 

Professor McDougall has served as Washington Bureau Chief of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP),and as a member of the national governing boards of the following organizations: Common Cause, The Fulbright Council for the International Exchange of Scholars and the Paul J. Archer Foundation for Everyday Democracy.
