The sudden outbreak of corona virus disease in 2019 (also known as Covid-19) which originated from the city ofWuhan, China, has become a major public health challenge for not only China but also countries all over the world. In fact, the pandemic has led to the total lock down of most of the human activities in various parts of the world. Like in all other parts of the globes and regions, Africa, developing worlds, and Nigeria in particular was not left out in this onerous challenge. In Nigeria the experiences were unimaginable as many businesses have evidently folded off, education sector has been battered unprepared adding further injury to the already existing catastrophic situation before the unexpected occurrence of the pandemic. The pandemic reignited the need for functional e-learning programmes and development in developing nations which Nigeria is a typical instance. E-learning being a new atmosphere and avenue for exploitations by both teachers and students and other stakeholders around the world, have been one the researchers favorite most especially in the period of pandemic.
