In our country Ethiopia, agriculture is at the heart of the economy, but the sector’s productivity is very low due to lower rate of technology adoption. To this end, poverty is a critical problem in the country. An adoption of agricultural technology plays a significant role to improve productivity and thereby reduces poverty. This book organizes studies that examine the impacts of agricultural technology adoption on poverty reduction in different parts of rural Ethiopia. As a result, the book focused on the determinants of adoption of agricultural technologies and their implied impact on poverty reduction. The results of the studies revealed that adopters of any technology packages used in the study have higher per adult food and total consumption per annum, and this confirms that adoption of agricultural technologies has a direct and significant impact on household's consumption and on poverty reduction for the rural poor in Ethiopia.
