Twenty eight fungal species were isolated from rhizosphere soil on PDA medium and another 24 fungal species were isolated on HO medium. Aspergillus and Penicillium were the most prominent among all isolates. Five fungal isolates were also isolated from rocks on the same media. 2- In vitro experiments showed that only 9 rhizosphere fungal isolates have the ability to solubilize inorganic TCP on PVK medium. Effect of PSF isolated from rhizosphere soils and rocks on pH change of phosphate media was carried out. The most efficient fungi solubilize TCP on PVK medium was studied. Determination of phosphatases activity of PSF showed that P. decumbens showed the highest acid phosphatase activity while P. chermisenum showed the highest alkaline one. Effect of different fungicides on the selected PSF was carried out.
