Structural equation model has been applied in various fields. The book firstly introduces the basic knowledge of structural equation model. Then two stories about environment effects and national image evaluation are presented. The first story aims to provide statistical models, algorithms and quantitative evidences regarding environmental effect evaluation (EEE). The second story screens key variables using lasso penalized quantile regression first and then proposes a comprehensive evaluation indicator and modified partial least square algorithms based on the quantile-based third-order latent variable model. From chapter 4 to 6, we discuss three kinds of topics in various structural equation models from the perspective of applications. The first topic is about High-dimensional issues in structural equation model.
