Description

This monograph examines organizational management in conditions of intensified technological, economic, social, environmental, and crisis transformation. Its primary goal is to identify and analyze important factors shaping the effectiveness, adaptability, and resilience of contemporary organizations. Particular attention is paid to innovation, competency-based management, entrepreneurial attitudes, public procurement law, sustainable development, and crisis management, including cyber-security challenges. The research is based on an interdisciplinary methodological framework combining a critical review of management and quality science literature with empirical research conducted in selected companies and public administration units. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were employed. The research findings demonstrate that organizational and digital innovations, along with managerial and design competencies, are fundamental factors of sustainable competitive advantage. The analysis further highlights the growing importance of integrating economic, social, and environmental goals within modern management concepts. Furthermore, the study highlights the role of legal and institutional frameworks – particularly public procurement regulations – in shaping entrepreneurial behavior and innovation potential. This study can contribute to the development of management theory by offering a comprehensive and integrated analytical perspective. It also provides practical implications for managers, decision-makers, and researchers seeking to improve organizational effectiveness, sustainability, and crisis preparedness in an increasingly complex and digitalized environment.
