Dr. Nithyashree D A, a proficient student turned diligent professor ranked second in her Bachelor’s in Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, furthermore won gold medals in her post-graduation degree and Ph.D. in Agricultural Marketing from the University of Agriculture Sciences, Bengaluru. Besides post-graduation and doctorate, she also possess a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management, Journalism, and Mass Communication. She is valued for developing a new adopter categorization suitable for Indian context along with a model for the success of women's self-help groups in Karnataka. Her interests are rooted in diffusion and adaptor and print journalism. On a weekend, you will find her tending to her terrace garden or binge-watching about 3 movies! Currently living in Dharwad with her daughter and husband, she leads the Krishi Community Radio at the University of Agricultural
