Hossain

Rear Admiral Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain, NUP, ndc, psc, PhD, is a distinguished Bangladesh Navy engineer and academic. Commissioned in 1991, he holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from BUET. He has served at MIST, Naval Academy, Chittagong Port Authority and as Managing Director of CDDL, DEW and KSY. He has authored around 200 international papers on AI, IoT, robotics, shipbuilding, ship recycling, ports, energy and advanced technologies.
