Sahand E. P.

Dr Sahand E.P. Faez has a PhD in Economics from the University of Mazandaran, Iran. He is also in pursuit of a PhD in International Relations from the National Chung Hsing University. The combination of these two makes him a highly trained political economist. His focus so far has been on the political economy of human rights with more emphasis on the quality of labor. Among his recent work, one could mention the Cost-Benefit Analysis of International Sanctions: Case Study of the JCPOA and US Maximum Pressure Policy towards Iran, where he examines the spillover effects of sanctions against Iran on the livelihood of its citizens. He is currently working on the effects of US sanctions on Iran's labor makret struture.
