William

William Tormey is a retired chemical pathologist and former elected member of Dublin City Council. He holds a PhD, MD, and DMed, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Irish Journal of Medical Science from 2016 to 2025. He has 6,737 citations on Google Scholar, an i10-index of 92, and an h-index of 41, and has three other books published. His most recent book is Turbulence in Health and Social Care Ireland, Eliva Press, 2022.
