Vivien Jiaqian

Vivien Jiaqian Zhu (朱嘉倩) earned an A.B. (distinction) in comparative literature and Chinese Literature, with a minor in history of art from UC Berkeley in 2018. She became a visiting scholar/Ph.D. at Stanford University in 2022. In 2024, she was appointed as a Mitsubishi Research Fellow to study early modern Japanese palaeography at the University of Cambridge; in 2026, she began a new appointment serving as a Pre-Screener for the Society for Visual Anthropology Film and Media Festival (SVAFMF).
