Dr. Heemel Saha has more than 16 years of professional experience in the field of cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery & now working as Assistant Professor of Thoracic Surgery unit, BSMMU. Attended handful of International and National conferences & published more than 36 National & International publications. Within last 3.5 years Dr. Saha performed about 300 tube thoracostomy, 150 pleural biopsy and about 100 pleurodesis successfully in BSMMU. Consultation done of more than 600 outdoor patients. Dr. Saha graduated (MBBS) in 2004 and obtained his MS (CV&TS) in 2016 from BSMMU. Dr. Heemel successfully completed extensive training on VATS from Eulji University, South Korea in 2022.He is a life member of BACVTS, ATCSA and Bangladesh cardiac society.
His wife Dr. Debjany Sikder is a dentist and he is the proud father of  6 years old only daughter Rupkotha Saha.
