Mandla Alfred

Dr. Mandla Twala holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Zululand (Unizul) in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Presently, racked up ten academic articles in various prestigious international journals. Amongst his many academic articles, he has written on results-based management in developing countries and monitoring systems in the public sector.  Twala is currently, a Director in the Department of Infrastructure Development and has served for 20 years of service in the public sector, in various portfolios, amongst  others Labour Market Information Statistics & Planning, Research Analyst and Institutional Performance Monitoring.  He is a member of the South African Sociological Association (SASA) and the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA).
