 Jana Výrostková, DVM., PhD. is assistant professor on Department of Food Hygiene, Technology and Safety, University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia. Her research and academic experience is in the knowledge of laboratory technology (physical-chemical methods, chromatography, separation). A broad overview in the field of disinfection in the food industry with the aim of developing a new disinfectant of a new generation with a broad-spectrum effect. Identification of pathogens and their subsequent microbiological analysis in the field of quantitative and qualitative microbiological examination of food using culture and molecular methods. The research activity is focused on the field of hygiene and technology of milk and milk products, with a specialization focused on determining the health safety of food, from the point of view of evaluating sanitation, disinfection
