Experienced professional in information technology, holding leadership, pedagogical, and mentoring positions as Chief Information Officer for the municipality of Cuenca, Ecuador, and as an associate professor at the University of Cuenca – Economics and Engineering department. Winner of the SENESCYT (Secretaría Nacional de Educación Superior, Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación) scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. at Rochester Institute of Technology, New York - USA, where was a research assistant. Managing large amounts of data and tools to clean, process, and produce results in a model for predictions. It involves data processing from different sources and formats to determine the optimal number of station locations in the city based on different factors, such as population, demographic, pollutants, meteorological, and geographic data.
