Klaus

Born in Caracas in 1951, graduated in Chemist (Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas), Biochemistry (Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas)  and obtained a PhD from the University of Southampton, UK, in 1980. He studies the evolution of animal and human societies using methods borrowed from chemistry, biology, physics, sociology, anthropology and computer sciences. He has published over 250 scientific articles and several books and patents. Founder of various Doctoral Programs. Active in research on evolution of social systems and of thermodynamics of complex systems.
