Body of work in Plasma-Material Interaction (PMI) represents a highly specialized, interdisciplinary intersection between energy systems engineering, nuclear fusion physics, data metrics, and high -performance computing. His research tackles one of the greatest engineering hurdles facing commercial nuclear fusion power: the microscopic degradation, material structural erosion, and fuel isotopic retention that occurs when extreme, multi-million-degree plasma particles collide with the internal structural walls of a magnetic confinement fusion device, such as a Tokamak reactor. The approaches in this work of PMI problems primarily through Molecular Dynamics (MD) processing and advanced computational simulations, introducing unique informational metrics - specifically with different Entropy - to calculate system predictability, structural reliability, and surface morphology shifts under intense particle fluxes.
