Nexus Constitutionalism advances a bold and original rethinking of the constitutional order in the twenty-first century. At a time when states face escalating crises in water scarcity, energy instability, and food insecurity, this book argues that these challenges are not merely technical or policy-driven, but fundamentally constitutional in nature. Moving beyond fragmented sectoral approaches, the work introduces Nexus Constitutionalism as a foundational theory that elevates the interdependence of water, energy, and food (WEF) into a constitutional principle of the modern state.
