Rahat Ahmed Jobu is a researcher and software developer affiliated with BRAC University, with research interests spanning machine learning, cybersecurity, and software security. He is the developer of PyPIGuard, an open-source, lightweight machine learning tool for detecting malicious PyPI packages. PyPIGuard classifies malicious and benign software packages using structural and behavioral features without relying on large language models.
