Khandakar

Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain is a Rear Admiral (Retd.), Bangladesh Navy, with a PhD, MSc, and BSc (distinction) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from BUET. He has held leadership roles including Dean/Head of NAME at MIST, Managing Director of three major shipyards, and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Materiel). A Fellow of IEB, RINA (UK), and IAMSP (USA), he has nearly 200 international publications across AI, IoT, robotics, shipbuilding, ship recycling, and energy solutions.
