Nonlinear optics is one of the emerging fields in physics. This field bears the promise to replace electronic devices based on electric current with photonic devices. This book gives description of some novel nonlinear optical phenomenon. Emphasis is put on give detailed in depth into these phenomenon while minimizing complex mathematics. Particularly the phenomena of self focusing and frequency mixing processes have been discussed in detail.
