In recent years, with the increasing demand for clinical bone grafts, the use of poly (ether ether ketone) (PEEK) with excellent comprehensive performance as artificial bone material has become a new choice to solve orthopedic problems, and has been practically used in clinical practice, but there are still problems such as poor interlayer fusion effect of 3D printed PEEK orthopedic implants, smooth and bio-inert surface, insufficient osteogenic activity, and susceptibility to bacterial infection on the surface. The author proposes a new upgrade scheme that can further improve the comprehensive performance of PEEK 3D printing implants: Develop amorphous aggregated Poly (aryl ether ketone) (PAEK), and rely on the interaction between molecular chains to improve theinterlayer mechanical properties of 3D printing scaffolds; With solution processing characteristics, low-temperature deposition manufacturing (LDM) can be used to print multi-stage porous tissue engineering scaffolds to solve the problem of smooth and bio-inert scaffolds; It can uniformly add active and functional components necessary for bone composition, and finally form an orthopedic implanted PEEK material system based on intermolecular interaction, surface topology and surface active components. The contents of this book have important reference value for the design and preparation of a new generation of artificial bone materials.
