This book entitled ‘Studying factor effects on the comfort properties of textile fabrics and development of Jute composite ceiling fan blade’ is supplied with nine chapters. The first chapter focuses on identification of the issues creating cotton supply shortage for Ethiopian textile factories and suggests solutions with different perspectives so as to balance the demand-supply chain and maximization of the intended productions. The next two chapters focus on productivity, efficiency and quality problems of Ethiopian factories having weaving plants. Here, samples of factories have been taken for assessing their status and making comparisons with the best practices of international factories. Root cause analysis is made to indicate the areas where serious interventions are needed. The fourth chapter identifies woven fabric design limitations of Ethiopian textile factories and tries to develop different designs that can be made with the factories’ loom set-up and help them to produce varieties of textile woven fabrics having different end-uses.
