Pia

Pia Brînzeu is Professor of English literature, Emerita, at the English Department, West University of Timişoara. Member of the Romanian Writers’ Union, she has widely published books in Romanian and English and was the editor in chief of the Timișoara Journal of Semiotics and guest editor of EJES (European Journal of English Studies). She is interested in British culture and civilization, comparative literature, narratology, semiotics, and translation studies and currently lives in Timișoara.
