V. Basil Hans
Dr V Basil Hans taught Economics at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya Mangalore in 1985. In 1986 he joined St Aloysius College. Later he did MPhil and PhD. He retired as Associate Professor on 30.08.2022 from St Aloysius Evening College, Mangalore.
Dr Hans has taught MA, MCom, MBA, and MSW students too. He has guided MPhil and PhD students and is now an external examiner for many UG/PG courses and PhD.
V. B. Hans is a prolific writer and also known for his oratory skills both in English and Kannada. He won several prices for writing poems, essays and short stories. There were also published in newspapers and magazines.
By now Dr Hans has written more than 220 research papers and more than 80 books in English and Kannada. His book, Digital Economy Boon or a Bane is multilingual in nine foreign languages. He has been awarded as best researcher. He is on the editorial board of more
