The mastery of randomness can provide important tools in different fields. Markovian-type stochastic processes constitute some family rich in mathematical and algorithmic properties. In this manuscript. we study a particular type. The first chapter is devoted to the mathematical and algorithmic description of random walks as well as its quantum equivalent. The second chapter will deal with its applications in the computer and cryptographic field.
