Shyama

Professor Shyama R. Weerakoon has completed her PhD from The University of Western Australia and postdoctoral studies from the same university. She is attached to the Department of Botany at the Open University of Sri Lanka as a Senior Professor and Chair of Botany. She has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and more than 90 communications in national and international conferences, and authored several textbooks in the areas of Genetics, Plant Breeding and Plant Molecular Biology.
