Dr. George D. Malaperdas is an expert in environmental and cultural mapping, geospatial analysis and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for studying terrestrial ecosystems and landscapes. He currently teaches at the Department of Environment, Ionian University. His work demonstrates the value of combining advanced mapping tools with ecological and environmental data to support research, conservation, and informed decision-making.
