Mario Ricardo

M. Ricardo Calderón, MD, MPH, DHC, is a physician executive, educator, and global health strategist committed to advancing equity, resilience, and integrity in health systems. With 30+ years of senior leadership in 20+ countries, he was educated in Guatemala and the U.S. (USAC, UCLA, USC, CSUN, UNC), inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2015, and awarded a Doctor Honoris Causa by Remzion University of Jerusalem in 2025 for lifetime contributions to global health, education, and development.
