Production and evaluation of two antibiotics of Streptomyces coelicolor A3 (2), prodigiosin and actinorhodine under solid state fermentation, using microporous culture, is a presentation of research initiated at the University of Newcastle at the School of Chemical Engineering, United Kingdom, Repeated and completed at the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technology and Science (ISPTEC) in Luanda-Angola. The microporous polymeric material has several applications, such as bioprocess intensification in antibiotic production, syngas fermentation, bioethanol production and agro-processes.
