This planet is the home not only of homo sapiens but all living creatures. Unfortunately, mankind has made it a theatre of destruction by polluting it due to anthropocentric attitude. This book sketches the environmental destruction being done by cement industry where a case study from Pakistan is highlighted. It is asserted that state is the only institution capable to solve environmental problems which makes the environmental issues a political responsibility.
