Two different tools merge in this book to provide Non-native speakers with new strategies to acquire vocabulary and improve reading and writing skills starting from the autonomy and background of each learner. First, Mnemonics are used as a personal assistant to provide the mind with the information needed to get to a specific vocabulary. Also, comics as a way to learn, better, and create new products that include reading and writing abilities. Both strategies are oriented toward non-native speakers that must manage their learning at a cognitive level in a digitalized era. Mnemonics and comics represent active actions carried out by learners to benefit and reach their second language even when they are not directly in a classroom environment.
