Rheumatoid arthritis occurs in less than 1% of population, it has several well fitted drugs and therapies for treatment, however, we still have lots to learn from and for this disease. Although a person treated with a biologic drug such as a TNF-alpha inhibitor may have controlled disease, studies have found that some patients develop muscle loss. This muscle wasting process, for several years, had been secondary for the disease, and now that the main cause of the disease had been achieved, this condition needs some light to be shed on.
