Dr. Ambika P. Patra is a renowned forensic expert with expertise in Forensic Thanatology. As the Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education & Research, he has been instrumental in advancing forensic medicine education and research.

In addition to his research and teaching engagements, he has authored other forensic textbooks, viz. Medical Jurisprudence and Clinical Forensic Medicine by CRC Press.
