Dr. TMSPK Thennakoon has obtained her Honours degree in Geography from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka(SL) & Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural and Forest Sciences, University of Wales, Bangor, UK. She has been working as a Professor in Geography in the Dept. of Geography, USJ since 1998. shen has done more than 30 research projects, local and international publications and presentations and supervised for 20 Post Graduates in MScs, MAs, MPhils & PhDs . Also she is working as an editorial board member in research journals.
