Dr. S. Arockiasamy is a Doctorate from Loyola College (University of Madras) Chennai. He has 13 years and teaching and research experience in VIT Chennai. He has worked and working extensively in the preparation and thermal analysis of transition metal complexes of Nickel, Copper, Cobalt, Titanium, Zinc etc as precursors for Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD). His expertise includes, measurement of vapour pressure and evaluation of thermodynamic parameters by TG-based transpiration technique. He is working in the field of developing metal oxides and composite thin films using Plasma Assisted CVD. He was an outstanding foreign PhD fellow and a visiting Fellow, Weismann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel in 2008. He was a DST-Young Scientist Fellow during the period 2013-2016.
