Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is one of the worst health crisis responsible for a huge losses in economy and healthcare sector all over the world. In addition to the mortalities, COVID-19 disease causes several types of pain s (e.g. referred pain, headache, and myalgia) during viral infection and after recovery. Inflammatory as well as neuropathic pain were reported in COVID-19 patients. Unfortunately, the use of currently available drugs for pain relief aggravated COVID-19 symptoms in many patients. Several reports showed that the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) upregulate the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, thus increase patients' susceptibility to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2).
