Description

The present study scrutinized the implications of communication difficulties faced by Yemeni students in Karnataka in general and India in particular. The study was aimed to bring out the impact of pronunciation and accent on communication between teachers and students. The study may prove helpful in analyzing how proper communication strategies will help the Yemeni students to avoid inter-culture conflict. In order to satisfy the objectives of the research, the study employs both exploratory and descriptive research design. Exploratory research design will be used to generate basic knowledge on communication and communication problems. The locale of the study is limited to Karnataka region that include Bangalore, Mysore and Shimoga, however there is enough scope to extend it to other states of India where substantial quantity of Yemeni students are studying.
