Casual labour, the recently most utilized form of employment is gaining unprecedented grounds in so many third world countries, especially in Nigeria where there are high level of unemployed and precariously employed people. This practice of casualisation of labour is highly exploitative, demeaning, and oppressive. People who qualified for a particular position may be underemployed, overwhelmed with fat workloads and large hours of work, only to take home meagre salaries not commensurate to the efforts exerted.
